Gentry Lassiter is an ambitious public relations professional seeking agency work throughout the U.S. Gentry graduated from the University of Arkansas with a degree in journalism before moving to Chicago to enhance his knowledge of public relations with a graduate degree from DePaul University.

He has most recently been employed as an intern with the Marketing and Communications department of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, where he helped hone the chapter’s social media outreach program. In addition to supporting the organization’s digital PR efforts, Gentry also provided assistance with traditional communication efforts to distribute messaging to the 8.6 million people in the organization’s coverage area.

Gentry continues to work toward developing his skills and obtaining a career in public relations and specializes in crisis communication and social media. He is currently seeking either a full-time position or internship in public relations.
