Part entrepreneur, part strategic thinker, I'm a results-oriented marketer with social and emerging media experience.
I bring a unique perspective to the world of advertising. In an industry that is constantly reinventing itself, I feel my entrepreneurial background has given me leverage to succeed.

At Measure2x (measure twice), a joint venture between RAPP and Alcone Marketing Group, I work directly with clients to develop and implement strategies to holistically integrate their media campaigns, search optimization and viral marketing into one cohesive promotional marketing plan. Coordinating the efforts of two agencies with distinctly different cultures, I’ve been able to successfully integrate both companies core strengths to form one cohesive brand mission in delivering analytically driven promotional marketing strategies that ignite viral growth through online, offline and emerging media for M2X clients. In December of 2008 we were named promotional Agency of Record for Mattel’s Barbie division.

Prior to joining Measure2x, I led the emerging media practice at Digitas where I leveraged cutting-edge thinking for clients such as General Motors, IBM, Mars, Samsung, Disney and Kraft Foods. Managing a team of like-minded thought leaders and futurists, my goal was to discover niche, nascent technologies that could enhance the user experience of our client’s audience.

Additionally, I was the curator of innovation for Omnicom media company, PHD North America. Directly reporting to our CEO, I was named SVP of Innovation. Drawing from the strength of my mobile background to lead media strategies for Discovery Communications, I utilized my experience to negotiate the first 7 figure mobile media upfront with Verizon Wireless. Additionally, I had won an OMMA award for a ground breaking holistic in-game advertising campaign for my work on Discovery Channel. Our campaign was so well received, WIRED had written a featured article on its success. In addition to Discovery, I played key roles in new media thought leadership with Overture Films, Chrysler LLC, Gap and Charles Schwab.

A seasoned entrepreneur, I began my career as the co-founder of Simplewire, the United States first SMS infrastructure and software provider. I had managed what was an inspirational idea and converted it into what has now become the backbone infrastructure to hundreds of millions of text messages as Amdocs acquired Simplewire in 2006. My expertise in integrated mobile technologies led to many innovations in the mobile space including partnerships with Ericsson Mobility Labs to bring multimedia-messaging services to the U.S. Market.

I was also a pioneer in in-game advertising, having founded the emerging media consultancy Eiko. Eiko was one of the first agencies to recognize the power of in-game advertising and quickly became AOR for Ubisoft and Eidos Interactive where I collaborated with brands and gaming companies to develop experiential, integrated marketing campaigns to be placed in video games. Due to the brand relationships as well as our reputation in the gaming industry, Double Fusion, a dynamic in-game advertising company, acquired Eiko Media in 2005.

A true thought leader in new media marketing, I have contributed to panels for Advertising Age, NYU’s Stern School of Business, and CTIA Wireless Entertainment and have spoken to the New York chapter of MENG on mobile marketing. I’m also a member of the CTIA leadership council on how to improve carrier services for brands and advertisers. An active blogger, I contribute to AdAge’s DigitalNEXT blog frequently and I manage my own pop culture based social news site called hipstr.
